 Urgent: Call For Volunteers

Our cat intake room (behind Comox Valley Animal Hospital) is in immediate need of new volunteers to take care of the cats that are there. The morning shift can be a simple refresh food, water and litter and a few cuddles, of course. The afternoon/evening shift is usually a full clean and takes a bit longer. The morning shift can start after 7:30 am and the afternoon/evening shift should be done by 8pm, but can start early in the afternoon. Training is provided. We are hoping to find several new volunteers who can commit to at least a few months, but this is an emergency so if you can assist only a few times, that would help a lot!

Here are the shifts that are immediately in need of a volunteer: Monday AM, Tuesday AM, Friday AM, Sunday PM

Please contact us if you can help!

Kitty Cat PAL Society began in 2006 and was officially registered in 2007 to improve the well-being of cats in the Comox Valley Regional District.  Over the years the society has grown due to a great number of cats in need, and thanks to our growing number of volunteers.  Our main focus is outdoor cats - TNR (trap-neuter-return) and rescuing kittens born outdoors.  In 2013 alone we rescued over 350 cats.
